Let's work on ratios! A ratio shows how many of one thing there is compared to another. For example, if you have 2 red blocks and 1 blue block, the ratio of red to blue blocks is 2 to 1, or 2:1. If you want to keep the same ratio and double the red blocks, you need to double the blue blocks too. The new ratio becomes 4 to 2, or 4:2. These ratios (2:1 and 4:2) are equivalent because they show the same proportional relationship between numbers, even though the numbers themselves are different. Now that you know how ratios and equivalent ratios work, can you fill in the missing numbers?
