This learning center supports math facts up to 10 and encourages mental math with a fun bingo game. Students:

* Choose a bingo card.

* Place a deck of cards face down (without the face cards), and students take turns turning over one card at a time.

* Figure out what number they would add to the number of the card and cover that number on their bingo card.

* Continue until someone gets five in a row.

For example, if a student flips over a 6, they would cover the number 4 on their bingo card. Students can cover the numbers according to the cards they pull, or every student can see if they have the number on their bingo card every time a playing card is drawn.

Students can play the game independently, finishing the center as soon as they get five in a row. They can play with one or two other students in the same learning center. You can also play together as a class, with the teacher flipping over each playing card while the rest of the class covers the answers on their bingo card.
