Being able to compare and order numbers is an important skill that gets more complex as students age. In addition to ordering whole numbers, they should also be able to compare and order fractions.

This learning center challenges students to order a set of 15 fraction cards from smallest to largest. All fraction cards include 1/2, making it a good activity for students who are just beginning to learn about fractions. Some fractions include a single whole digit number while others include two-digit whole numbers up to 30 1/2.

The learning center includes a student page where they write the fractions and card numbers in order. The student directions page includes visuals to help them get started. Teacher directions show where to affix the directions and where to put the worksheet pages and cards inside the folder.
