This learning center encourages students to practice their time-telling skills in visual ways that support memorization and real-life learning. It includes three different ways for students to play:

* Students flip over an hour card. Then, they place a math cube on the Telling Time to the Hour mat on a square that displays the same time as the hour card. Squares on the mat feature both analog and digital clocks. The first student to get five in a row wins.

* Students roll the hour and minute spinners on the spinner mat. They place a math cube on the Telling Time to the Half Hour mat on a matching time square. Squares on the mat feature both analog and digital clocks.

* Students flip over activity cards and place them on one of the mats, like placing the school starts activity card on the 8:00 space.

There is also an option for teachers to cut out the clock numbers and place them around the classroom wall clock to help students tell time. For example, the :15 clock number can be placed next to the 3 on the clock in your classroom.

This learning center includes everything you need to set it up and help students get started. All mats, cards, and clock numbers are included on individual sheets so they are easy to copy. Each version of the game includes its own directions sheet for students to follow. There is also a master instruction and resource sheet for teachers that:

* Outlines all the included materials.

* How teachers set up each version of the game.

* How students play each version of the game.

* A cover image that can be used on the bin or folder.
