2     El halcón peregrino tiene un nombre que le queda muy bien. Peregrino significa "vagabundo". Los halcones peregrinos realmente vagabundean. En un año pueden viajar 15,000 millas. Un halcón peregrino puede dejar su hogar en la tundra en el norte lejano y pasar el invierno en Sudamérica.
 
3     Se pueden encontrar halcones peregrinos en todo el mundo. Viven en todos los continentes, excepto en la Antártida. Viven en todos los tipos de climas y hábitats, y se los puede encontrar en una ciudad, el desierto, el bosque, en zonas tropicales o en áreas de pantanos.
