Telling time is a real-world skill that is important for students to learn, but it takes a lot of practice. That's where this learning center comes in!
Students take a set of cards that feature an image of an analog clock. Each clock displays both the standard numbers on a clock as well as the matching minute numbers. For example, the number 5 is featured on a circle around the clock by the number 1, 10 is featured by the number 2, and so on. Both the short hand and the long hand point directly at each number, which makes telling time easier for young students.
Students pull a card, locate the number of the card on the student page, and write down the time they see. When they are done, they put all the cards in the envelope and return the learning center so another student can complete it. All instructions are included so students can complete the learning center independently.
