1 Minmi (Min mee) was a small armored dinosaur. Its body was about six feet long. Its armor protected it from predators. Its neck and shoulders had big, bony plates. It had spikes sticking out from its hips. It had triangular plates along its tail. It had large armor patches on its nose. Even its belly had armored plates! Minmi is the only armored dinosaur known to have armored plates on its belly. Minmi was the smallest of the armored dinosaurs called Ankylosaurids. Like other Ankylosaurids, it walked on four feet.
