The Chocolate Museum
By Kathleen W. Redman
1 Everyone in Ms. Miller's class has been waiting for this day. Today they are going to make their very own museum - a chocolate museum!
2 Each child has made or brought something to add to the museum. Each one carefully sets up a display. Look at all the chocolate!
3 Let's walk around the museum. We will see all the displays.
4 Cary found out that chocolate is the favorite candy flavor in America. The chart he made shows that berry flavors and vanilla tied for second. Let's taste his chocolate candy!
5 Dana has a drawing of a huge cow. A farmer is milking the cow. There are hundreds of pails of milk around the cow. Dana says that American candy makers use nearly four million pounds of milk a day to make chocolate.
