It's Not Easy Being Green
By Jody Williams 1 What is a superhero? A superhero may be a boy or a girl. They are found in comic books. They are seen on TV. Usually they are strong. They have powers. Some of them do magic. They may look like people but can change into superheroes. They help fight crime. 2 One man brought a superhero to life. Lou Ferrigno played the Incredible Hulk in a TV show. The Incredible Hulk started as a comic strip. It later became a TV show. Then it became a movie. It started when a scientist was in his lab. He was doing an experiment. He was doing research about superhuman strength. He used himself to run some tests. Later, he found out the result. 3 The scientist noticed some changes. He grew larger. His muscles grew to be huge. His eyes turned whitish-green. His whole body turned green. Whenever someone needed help, "the Hulk" showed up. He had superhuman strength. People were scared of him. He helped anyway.
