Books, Books, and More Books
By Beth Beutler
1 "So many books, so little time," Beth said to Keith as they browsed the local mega-sized bookstore. It was full of magazines, picture books, fiction stories, how-to books, and more. There were thousands of books in just one store!
2 "This is almost overwhelming," Beth commented. "This doesn't even include what's on the Internet. How do you decide what and how much to read?"
3 Keith, who was flipping through a paintball magazine, turned to her and said, "I don't really know. I guess people just read what they are most interested in."
4 Beth walked to another section to browse. Her mind was churning with ways to take in written information without feeling too overloaded. As she absent-mindedly flipped through various books, some ideas came to mind.
