Today is a very special day. Today is Hobbit Day.
My name is Esmerelda Bumbleroot of Haysend. Well, that is not my real name. That is my hobbit name. I am going to tell you about hobbits.
Hobbits are very small beings. They are never more than four feet tall. Most of them are about three and a half feet tall.
Most hobbits are just a little bit chubby. They love to eat, and they love parties. In fact, they eat seven meals a day! It is no wonder that most of them are stout!
The tops of their feet are hairy. The bottoms of their feet are like leather. This is very good since they don't like to wear shoes.
