The Three Floats

By Brenda B. Covert
1     Panting, the Rist triplets returned home from a long day at the park. They wiped the sweat from their faces and stashed their bikes in the garage. They kicked their shoes off by the front door. Then they trooped into the kitchen for something cool to drink.

2     Isaac opened the fridge and reached inside. "I've got the root beer!" he said, pulling out a 2-liter bottle.

3     Ivy reached in and grabbed a smaller bottle. "I've got the chocolate syrup!" After removing it from the rack in the door, she swung the door shut.
