What to Do with a White T-Shirt

By Beth Beutler
     White t-shirts are very nice,

But they are hard to clean.

My brother threw some dirt on mine.

     Now that was awfully mean.

"No, that won't work," Gerri sighed. She was trying to write a poem about a white t-shirt for her creative writing class. She wanted to write something funny about how to mess up a white t-shirt, but the ideas were not coming.

"Maybe if I think of things that can stain a shirt," she mused and began a list.

     Ketchup

     Mustard

     Oil

     Dirt
