1     Katherine sighed as she watched the sky. She loved looking at planes, especially at an air show.
 
2     Katherine's dad came up behind her. "Hi, sweetie!" he said.
 
3     "Hi, Dad."
 
4     "It's fun to watch the planes, isn't it?"
 
5     "It sure is," Katherine answered enthusiastically. "I want to fly someday!"
 
6     Katherine's dad grinned. "Maybe you can be like Amelia Earhart - except for the end of her life."
 
7     "Who was Amelia Earhart?"
 
8     "Amelia was a wonderful pilot. Let me tell you about her."
