The Best Milkshake

By Mary Lynn Bushong
"Can we go to Grandpa's farm today?" asked Joe.

"Why do you want to go there?" asked Mom. "We were just there last week."

"I know," said Joe. "But I was wishing I could have a chocolate milkshake."

Joe's mom gave him a funny look. "What do milkshakes have to do with Grandpa's farm?" she asked.

"Grandpa milks his cows two times a day, right?"

     Mom nodded.

"The cows are brown, right?" asked Joe.

     "Yessss," said Mom slowly.
