Stop Bullying Me!

1     Ugh! It was her again. Every day it was the same thing. First she'd call me names. Then she'd trip me and her friends would laugh. I guess they thought it was funny. I didn't. I thought it was mean. I decided that today was going to be different. I wasn't going to be bullied anymore!
 
2     Missy started calling me names at recess, but this time I was ready. I knew that there were four things that I could do to make the bullying stop. First, I looked at her and told her to stop. She seemed a little shocked when I said it. I don't think she realized that I could stand up for myself. Then I walked away. If I didn't stay around her, she couldn't bully me. That seemed easy enough. Next, I went and told the teacher on recess duty. I told her that Missy and her friends were bullying me. I told her that they had been doing it for a long time. The teacher promised to help me. She made me feel safe, not scared. It was a nice feeling. Finally, I played with another group of .....
