A World in Black, White, and Gray

If a person is color blind, they cannot easily determine the contrast between colors. Most often, they have inherited this from another family member. They learn to accept seeing the world without the ability to identify the rich colors of green, red, blue, yellow, or others.

Color blindness can occur in different forms. Some people with this disability have difficulty seeing red or green. This is the most common type of color blindness. Some people have trouble with red and green. In both cases, they will have trouble with clearly seeing various shades of the color.

Color blindness is a disability that we often do not think about. Perhaps this is because it is not obvious, and people who have this challenge seem to get along fine. In general, color blindness won't cause major problems. Even so, there are some hurdles to overcome.
