Calvin Coolidge

Calvin Coolidge was the thirtieth president. He was born in Vermont in 1872. His father owned a store in town. Coolidge went to Amherst College. He slowly got involved in law and politics. He was elected governor of Massachusetts. In 1921, he was elected vice president. The president at the time was Warren Harding. Harding died in 1923. He was on a trip to California.
