Daria's Job

Daria is five years old. Daria loves to play games. Daria loves to play outside. Sometimes, Daria likes to read. She likes going to dance lessons. She likes the beach. She likes camping with her mother and father. Daria likes doing a lot of things.


But Daria has never been to school. This September, Daria will start kindergarten. She's very excited, but she's also a little scared. She's never been around so many children. She's never been away from home all day. Daria's parents are also excited and nervous.


Daria's parents registered her for school. They have met Daria's teachers. The teachers gave Daria things to do. They are things that will help her get ready for school.


Now Daria has a job. She will work on some skills that will get her ready to go to kindergarten.


Daria will have to work on counting. She knows how to count to ten. She is learning to count to twenty.
