Geothermal Energy

Geothermal energy is heat from inside the Earth. Heat is made in the Earth's core. This is very deep inside the Earth. You cannot tell from the Earth's surface if geothermal energy is under the ground. We see geothermal energy in volcanoes. It can also be found in hot springs. It can be found in geysers. There is an area called the Ring of Fire. It is along the coastlines of the Pacific Ocean. A lot of geothermal activity happens there. Geothermal energy can be used to make electricity. Water can be heated by geothermal energy. Then heated water can be used to heat buildings and make electricity. Geothermal energy is a renewable resource. This is because we will always have water from rainfall. .....
