Let's Pick Blueberries!

Blueberry Month

Reading Comprehension for July 25

"It's a beautiful day! Let's go to the farm and pick blueberries," said Mom.

"That sounds like fun," said Tara.

"Then let's get going!" said Mom.

"I'll get my sun hat!" said Tara. "Do you want yours?"

"Sure," said Mom.

Tara got their hats from the hall closet. Then they got in the car and drove to the farm. When they arrived, Tara went to the farm stand and got a bucket for herself and one for Mom. "I'm going to fill my bucket," Tara said proudly.

Mom smiled. "The more blueberries we pick, the more we can eat and use to make pies and muffins."

"I love blueberry muffins," said Tara, rubbing her stomach as she and Mom walked to the rows of blueberry bushes.

"Look at all the blueberries!" said Mom.

"We should be able to fill lots of buckets," said Tara excitedly.
