Making a To-Do List

What do you have to do this week? Will you remember everything? Will you get everything done? It might be helpful to make a "to-do" list.

First, brainstorm all the things you want to do this week. Include school tasks as well as home chores. Also include anything you need to do for an upcoming event, such as get your mom a birthday card. Write down everything you can think of. Break large projects into small steps. Next, you will need to prioritize your tasks.

First, ask yourself, "If I can only manage to do three things this week, what would I want them to be?" Go back to the large list you generated. Put a symbol next to each of those three things. It could be an asterisk or an "H" for high priority. Then, see if anything else on your list is extremely important. Mark these items, also.
