My Candy Personality

Candy Day

Reading Comprehension for June 1

I am going to a new summer day camp. I have really enjoyed it because the counselors always lead creative crafts, games, and activities. I especially enjoyed an exercise we did today.

It was Candy Day, and the counselors developed a candy personality game. They laid out several bags of candy on an eight-foot long table. We were to come up and select the candy that we felt best fit our personality.

Max went first. He strutted up to the table, crossed his arms, and glanced at the choices. It was obvious by his smirk that he didn't care much for the activity, so it didn't surprise me when he picked up a Snickers bar.
