Oh, My Aching Feet!

"Oh, my aching feet!"

It's not hard to imagine a letter carrier saying something like that. Although there are not many, some letter carriers still walk miles each day delivering the mail. Letter carriers walk, drive cars, ride bicycles, and even take boats to get mail to houses all across the United States. They fill their trucks, cars, and bags full of mail and take them to houses near and far.

And they do it every day in all kinds of weather. They only take time off on Sundays and holidays, like Christmas and Thanksgiving.
