Among the many fascinating sports at the Summer Olympics, one that you won't want to miss is cycling. It offers a great mix of individual and team competitions with plenty of speed and endurance challenges. Altogether there are eighteen events in four main categories - track cycling, road cycling, mountain bike, and BMX.

They practiced sprints to build up their power and increase their speed. They practiced long rides to build up their endurance and practice their pacing. They ate meals full of things like peanut butter and rice - protein and carbs - for fuel.
