Planning a Trip to an Amusement Park

"Hey, Kate, Summer World is open," Ann told her friend.

"Is it? I've always wanted to go there," Kate said.

"Well, let's go!" Ann exclaimed.

"We should plan our trip," Kate said. "It costs a lot to go there so we should make sure we get the most out of it."

"You're right," Ann agreed. "Where do we start?"

"Well, let's start by looking into getting some cheaper tickets. I've heard them advertised on the radio. Some grocery stores sell them. Sometimes there's a coupon in the paper for a cheaper ticket. Of course, we could always go later in the day. After 4 P.M. the admission is lower," Kate suggested.

"I don't want to go after four," Ann said. "That would only give us five hours. There's so much to do; we wouldn't be able to fit it all in."

"That's true," Kate agreed. "Let's look in the paper for that coupon." Kate opened the local newspaper. The coupon was in the "Fun Things to Do" section. The discount was good for two tickets. They would each save ten dollars off the regular price. Kate cut the coupon out of the paper.

"That's great!" Ann exclaimed. "We can afford the discounted price, right?"

"Right," Kate agreed. "Now let's decide what day we should go."

"Let's go tomorrow," Ann said. "I can't wait!"
