Seeds of All Sizes
Different plants make different sizes of seeds. Palm trees make very big seeds. We call them coconuts. They are the largest seeds we know of. A coconut may weight thirty pounds! Orchid flowers make tiny seeds. A million orchid seeds could fit in a teaspoon! Orchids make the smallest seeds of any plant. You might think that very big plants always make very big seeds.
