The Three Little Frogs

Three little frogs sat at the edge of the pond.


The first one's name was Blue.


The second one's name was Red.


The third frog's name was Yellow.


They were good friends. They liked to play. They liked to find flies. They liked to make noise. They liked to jump from here to there. They liked to do frog things.


They did not like to read. They did not like to write. They did not like to go to school. They said that these were not frog things. They only liked to do frog things.


The three little frogs sat at the edge of the pond. They played and jumped. They made noise. They did not read. They did not write. They did not go to school. They could not even write their own names.


One day the three little frogs went out to play. They jumped and jumped. They played and played. Each time they jumped, they got farther away from the pond. Soon they were very lost.


"I am scared," said Blue.
