Who Cares?, Chapter 5

1     By the time Eric got to school, he didn't feel quite so good. He felt a little bit frightened. He was sure his plans were right. His mother might be hurt at first, though. It was all a little confusing. He was just too tired to think about it. He had to do something.
 
2     He saw Keith in the hall. "Hey, Keith!" he called.
 
3     Keith turned around and looked at him. "What's up, Eric?" Keith could see that Eric wasn't feeling any better.
 
4     "Oh, nothing much," Eric said. "I have a couple of things I want you to have." He pulled the stuff for Keith out of his book bag.
 
5     "Hey, really, what's up?" Keith asked. "You're not moving, are you? Are you going to another school? You can't do that, man. I know things haven't been that good lately. Still, this is your school. All your friends are here!"
