Fun in the Sun...California Style!

1 If you like fun in the sun and beaches, then California is the state for you. But if you like snow capped mountains or hiking in the desert, then California is also the state for you! California, the 31st state to join the Union, has something to offer everyone. This state has fantastic weather. It is truly a tourist's dream! First, you should visit northern California. While you're there, go to San Francisco. Here you can take a ferry out to a famous old jail. It is on Alcatraz Island. From there, travel east. Plan to stop in Sacramento. It is the state's capital. Next, drive south. Travel past Los Angeles and the famous "Hollywood" sign. Soon you will get to Anaheim. Be sure to stop and say hello to Mickey Mouse. He lives ..... |
