1 Theodor Seuss Geisel wrote many children's books. You know him by his pen name, Dr. Seuss. Geisel has his own memorial sculpture garden. The Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden is in Springfield, Massachusetts. Springfield is where Geisel was born. The garden has a sculpture of the author at his drawing board. It also has sculptures of some of his quirky book characters. There is a figure of a 14-foot-tall Horton the Elephant stepping out of an open book .....![]() |
