2     When you first look at them, Earth and Venus seem to have a lot in common. They are both about the same size. They are fairly close together in space. They are both the same shape. When you look closer, however, you will see that they have a lot of differences, too. Venus is very hot! It is covered in thick, yellow clouds. These clouds act like a blanket and trap all of Venus's heat. Since no heat can escape, at its surface Venus is 800 degrees Fahrenheit. Venus's air is also very different from Earth‘s. Venus's air is full of carbon dioxide. This means that people would not .....
