¹     Fran the fish lived in a pond where life was never dull. The water was full of other friends like turtles and minnows. The patterns of the sunlight on the rocks at the bottom of the pond kept the fish entertained. Fran liked the green feathery plants that tickled her tummy when she swam over them. Then one day Fran saw something new. She saw a long thin pink creature! The surprising thing moved magically through the murky water. It glided along so gracefully. It sat on a silvery curved object.
