1 Michelle Robinson was born in 1964. Her family lived in Chicago. Michelle went to Princeton University. She graduated from Harvard Law School. She moved back to Chicago. Michelle got a job at a law firm. She met Barack Obama while working there. After a while, they started to date. They married in 1992. Michelle decided she wanted to change her job. She wanted to spend her time encouraging people to serve others. She quit her job at the law firm. Michelle helped start the Chicago chapter of Public Allies.
