Easter Symbols

¹     You know it's the Easter season without anyone telling you! You see the Easter clues all around you. The things that tell you Easter is coming are symbols. They are symbols of Easter.

²     Many colorful flowers, such as tulips and daffodils, bloom around Easter. One flower is a special symbol of the holiday. It is the Easter lily. This tall flower has white, trumpet-shaped blossoms. Oddly enough, these lilies weren't discovered in the USA. They were found growing in Japan. From there they were carried to other countries, including Bermuda. Eventually, they crossed into the USA. Potted Easter lilies decorate homes and churches during the holiday.

³     Several newborn animals are symbols for Easter. Woolly white lambs, fuzzy yellow chicks, and soft brown bunnies each represent Easter in their own way. They are all symbols of new life. Also, they are all represented in candy form on this holiday!
