A New Bedroom
By Cathy Pearl

1     Anne had just moved into a new house. She needed to buy some things for her new bedroom. She knew that the store near her house sold things like sheets and blankets. Anne decided to go there to get what she needed.

2     When Anne got to the store, she walked to the section with items for the bedroom. She knew what she needed, but she couldn't believe all the different choices. There were a lot of different colors and designs that she could pick from.

3     Anne started in the sheets section. She already had a bed. What she needed was a set of sheets, blanket, and bed cover. There were many different kinds of sheets to pick from.

4     There were flannel sheets and cotton sheets. There were also sets that were called jersey sheets. Flannel sheets are warm in the winter. Cotton sheets would be cooler for the summer months. Jersey sheets would feel like having a big t-shirt on the bed.

5     Anne wanted to buy one set of sheets of every material. But right now she could only afford one set. She decided to buy the cotton sheets. They would be more comfortable when summer arrived.
