Before You Leave for Home
By Patti Hutchison

1     Josh was teasing his friend Mike. "Hey what's up with you? You always go through the same routine before you leave school every day. It's like you're in the zone or something."

2     "I do have a routine that I follow. It's what helps me get straight "A's". You thought I just got by with my superior brains and good looks, didn't you?" Mike said.

3     "So how does doing all that stuff get you good grades? I want a piece of that action, too," Josh admitted.

4     "It helps me get organized. Before I leave school each day I know exactly what I have to do that night. I take home all the stuff I need to do it. That's all there is to it," Mike told Josh.

5     "Exactly what do you do before you go home?" Josh asked.
