Mutiny!

By Kathleen W. Redman
1     Taking a really long trip can be a chore. There are many hours of being stuck in a car or airplane with people who get on your nerves. You start to wonder how much longer before you get there. Sometimes long trips are enough to drive someone crazy!

2     There was a famous trip in the late 1780s that ended very badly for a lot of people aboard a British ship, the H.M.S. Bounty. The trip ended with some sailors being kicked off the ship, the ship being burned, and some members of the ship's crew being executed.

3     The Bounty and its small crew sailed from England to Tahiti to collect breadfruit plants. It was a simple task, but the sailing took almost a full year.
