1     I am a word that has more than one meaning. I am an item used by string musicians to tickle the strings of their instruments and make beautiful...or screeching...sounds. Cellists, violinists, and others who love music take great pride in my care because my state is essential for the quality of their music. I am also used to secure packages and to decorate gifts. I come in all colors and can be tied in fancy ways. Some little girls like to put me in their hair or on a party dress to look pretty. Boys can wear me as a type of tie.
