A Fairy Treat (National Cotton Candy Day)

Sabrina loved fairies. She thought they were pretty. She had fairy dolls. She had fairy coloring books. She dressed up as a fairy for Halloween. Sabrina looked for fairies everywhere she went. She sometimes even wondered if real fairies were peeking at her, too, but she had never seen one.

Today Sabrina's grandfather was taking her to the county fair. She was excited to go on the Ferris wheel. She liked the games and sights and smells of the fair. It was noisy and fun!

Sabrina couldn't wait to go to the petting zoo and meet the baby animals. The chicks made her laugh. She loved the fluffy lambs and the round piglets. Sometimes, the friendly goats tried to nibble at her shoes. She was pretty sure that she would not find fairies at the fair.

"I know you like fairies," said Grandpa. "What is your favorite color fairy? I have heard of blue fairies, yellow fairies, and pink fairies. Which color fairy would you like to meet?"
