Curling is often something people do to their hair. But did you know that curling is also an Olympic sport? Olympic curlers don't use rollers and hair gel. They don't style their hair at lightning speed for gold medals. Curling is a sport played on ice.

In curling, two teams play against each other. Each team has four members. The players, or curlers, push a stone into a scoring area. The area looks a little like a dart board! There is a white dot in its center. This dot is called the button. Curlers use a broom to sweep the ice in front of the stone as it skids along. This helps the stone get to a good position. Then the team will get a good score!
