A Trip to the Emergency Room

Kristy and her mother were in their car headed to the store. While waiting at a red light, a car slammed into them from behind. Kristy and her mom were hurt. A witness called 911 and asked for an ambulance.

Jack's grandmother was getting older. One day while getting out of bed, she tripped. She knew she had hurt and maybe broken her hip. Jack's mother came running. She decided she had better call for an ambulance.

Keith woke up in the middle of the night. He was having a severe asthma attack. When his medicine did not improve his breathing, Keith's mother took Keith to the hospital right away.

Julie and John were running through the house, even though they weren't supposed to. Suddenly, Julie fell over a toy. She hit her head on the corner of the living room table. Her head was cut and bleeding. Julie's mother and father took her to the hospital. They thought Julie might need stitches.
