Brown Bagging It

One of the best ways to save some money is to take your lunch to work with you. Packing a lunch, or "brown bagging" it, will be a lot cheaper than buying your lunch.

One of the things that a lot of adults bring in their lunches is leftovers. Cook a little extra the night before and save it for your lunch. If you go out to dinner, bring the part you don't eat home. Or if you are visiting your parents, bring home some of that home cooking.

Sandwiches are easy to make and easy to take. Most people have memories of the many peanut butter and jelly sandwiches they ate when they were children. But you are an adult now; you don't need to eat that all the time. Try chicken, turkey breast, or tuna fish. Try different mustards or mayo. Use rolls instead of bread. The only thing that limits what you pack for your lunch is what you like. Don't be afraid to try something new.
