Color Me Blue

Did you know that our emotions are affected by color? For example, look at the colors in fast food restaurant signs. See how many of them have orange or red-orange letters or pictures? When most people see the color orange, they think about nice, warm food. They might even stop to get something to eat.

Most people think of pink as a baby color. To them pink might mean softness, sweetness, or security. Pale blue, another baby color, means trust or truth to some people. A darker blue means sadness to some, though.

What does the color red make you think of? Do you think of anger, heat, or danger? Sometimes it makes us think of excitement or speed. How each person thinks of color can be different.
