Eggs are a part of the Easter tradition. Many years ago, religious groups used the egg as a symbol. It meant new life. Today, friends give Easter eggs as gifts. Games are played with eggs during the holiday. Every year there is an Easter Egg Roll on the White House lawn. Children use a large spoon to push an Easter egg across the grass. Another tradition is an Easter egg hunt. Eggs are hidden. Children run to find them. Easter traditions are celebrated all over the world. Egg tapping is a game played in England. Eggs are hard boiled. Each player has an egg. The eggs are rolled. Each player tries to hit another player's egg. The winner is the person whose egg is not broken.
