George H.W. Bush was our forty-first president. He was born in Massachusetts in 1924. Bush joined the Navy when he was 18. He became the youngest Navy pilot at the time to earn his pilot's wings. He was a hero during World War II. After the war, Bush went to Yale. He was captain of the baseball team. After college, Bush moved to Texas. He worked in the oil industry.
