There are many mountains in Montana. There are also many lakes and rivers. Part of Montana's land contains national parks. Part of Yellowstone National Park is in Montana. Glacier National Park is found only in Montana.


There are about 25 glaciers in Glacier National Park. The high mountains in Montana are covered with snow and ice. A glacier is a big piece of ice. The glaciers slide downhill. A glacier moves over the land slowly. As it moves, it changes how the land looks. Glaciers can make valleys. A valley is a low place. It is found between mountains. Glaciers can make waterfalls.
