Glaucoma

Look around you. Is it nice outside today? Maybe you see the sun shining. Maybe there's snow on the ground. Perhaps your best buddy is in the desk next to you. Maybe your mother is. No matter who or what you see, the important thing is just that - you can see!


There are people in this world who suffer from glaucoma. They may have lost all of their sight or just some of it. They know the value of sight.


What is glaucoma? Glaucoma actually refers to a group of diseases, each of which causes damage to the optic nerve in the eye, and each of which can cause loss in vision or blindness. All of this sounds terrifying, and, indeed, it is very serious. However, the good news is that early treatment can provide incredible protection to one's vision.
