Going to an Arena or the Theater
You've just heard an ad on the radio. The band you've been dying to see is coming to the local arena. Or maybe a Broadway play is coming to your local theater. Maybe your local sports team is playing at home. You decide you are going to make plans to go to an event. But what should you do first?
You are going to need a ticket. Tickets to these events are very expensive. It's important to shop around for the best price.
Most arenas and theaters have a box office. This is a booth that sells tickets. You can call the box office or go there in person to ask about tickets. The box office is often your best bet for the least expensive price. But it doesn't hurt to look at other places.
