Reading Comprehension for January 25
Dear Diary,
I am on a winter break with my cousin who lives in Scotland. I have never been here before, and boy, are things different! They have some interesting customs and holidays.
Today just happened to be a day on which the Scots have a special supper in honor of one of their favorite poets, Robert Burns. They commemorate his birthday with a meal of haggis. Haggis is not something I would choose for dinner. I will write more about it in a minute.
